Biking 1

Today training will be about biking. Biking is a very fun activity, and today I’m going to make it even more fun. The first thing you are going to do while you are biking is take some deep breaths. Breathe in that fresh air. Next, you want to look around. Where are you? On a road, a trail? It’s very easy to go from point A to point B without thinking about where you are in the now.

 When you approach a hill, breathe in and out, and go to the highest gear comfortable. Remember, you don’t want to get tired before your hill. Now, gather up all your speed and momentum and go tearing up that hill. Don’t be afraid to go to a lower gear. Breath deep, and when you’re too tired, don’t be afraid to stop and get a drink of water. Remember, it’s not your legs that are the strongest muscle, it’s your brain.   1. Breathing in and out. Very sound advice! I’ll keep that in mind. Is this just about biking? Seems full of metaphors for life.
